1. If you are looking for a pickup truck with good gas mileage, I would suggest smaller models with four cylinder engines such as Ford Ranger, Mazba B Series, Chevy S-10, or Toyota Tacoma. Some of these models also come with V-6 engines, which will give you a little more power, but not as good fuel efficiency.
2. If you are looking for a pickup truck with a lot of power, Ford F-Series, Dodge Ram, or Chevy Silverado. Since most of these larger trucks have V-8 engines, you will sacrifice fuel economy, so I wouldn’t recommend them for long commutes.
3. If you are looking for a pickup truck with both good gas mileage and power, you may want to consider a hydrid pickup truck such as the Chevy Silverado Hydrid model. While they aren’t quite as powerful as other Silverado trucks with conventional engines, the hybrid models are catching up very quickly.
